From early assignments to complex, high-value transactions, our story reflects growth, accountability, and professional discipline. We evolved alongside the industry to deliver solutions that perform today and support the decisions that shape tomorrow.

The Coldwell Banker® story begins in 1906 in San Francisco — a period marked by the city’s devastating earthquake, one of the most powerful in U.S. history.
Against the backdrop of disruption and unfair market practices, entrepreneur Colbert Coldwell chose a different path: to build a company founded on trust, integrity, and transparency.
Benjamin Banker soon joined him, and together they established the foundation of a brand that would become one of the most respected names in real estate.

In the decades that followed, Coldwell Banker grew steadily and entered new markets. In 1925, the company expanded its scope to include residential real estate.
In 1955, it became the first in the industry to introduce a buyer guarantee — a move that reinforced its reputation for integrity and transparency.
In the 1960s, the firm entered commercial real estate, and a decade later expanded to the U.S. East Coast, cementing its position as a key market player.

The acquisition of Coldwell Banker by Sears, Roebuck & Co. in 1981 accelerated the company’s growth and national expansion.
In 1998, a new chapter began with globalisation — the first office outside the U.S. opened in Toronto.
The company also became an early mover in the digital transformation of real estate, launching its website and introducing concierge-style client programmes for premium segments.

By 2013, a strong professional foundation in commercial real estate had been established. Experience across office and retail assets, owner and occupier representation, and participation in complex transactions shaped a structured understanding of value drivers and market dynamics.
During this period, the focus moved beyond brokerage toward an integrated approach — combining transaction advisory, asset operations, and disciplined process control — creating the base for subsequent growth and a scalable business model.

By 2018, entrepreneurial experience scaled through the development of a dedicated platform in Europe and work with Class A assets in core business districts. The portfolio under management included tens of thousands of square metres of commercial real estate, including office business centres and mixed-use projects.
This stage also brought experience working alongside international advisory firms and major corporate clients, as well as projects focused on repositioning and value enhancement. The managed portfolio and tenant base increased multiple times over a short period, driven by a disciplined operating model.
